The Seaside Explorer is an historic tourist train that runs on a 16 km railway through farmland and around Swan Bay and is especially suited to Senior Citizens, Clubs and Activity Groups.
Journey down the Nepean Highway to Sorrento where you will catch the car ferry to Queenscliff then all aboard the BPR Vintage Train to Drysdale and return.
The Seaside Explorer is a diesel Railcar ex Tasmania operating Tuesdays and Thursdays. Steam Trains run on Sundays but are subject to change at short notice due to fire restricions or events beyond our control.
Package Tours are available which can include any of the following Fort Queenscliff - The largest and best preserved fort in Victoria. Originally built to protect Port Phillip Bay from a possible Russian invasion in the 1800's Queenscliff Maritime Museum - A look at Queenscliffs' maritime past of shipwrecks, rescues and the brave Pilots who bring the big ships safely into Port Phillip Bay through the notorious Rip at the entrance to the Bay. Ford Discovery Centre Geelong - All about old Fords and current productions as well as a display of Vintage Ford Motor Vehicles
